As an extension of the existing NDSU downtown campus. This proposed facility expands the current ceramic operations and gives several expanded learning opportunities. This urban infill project takes full advantage of the site including a small cantilever over the neighboring building. The design takes its inspiration from the process of making a ceramic piece. The ceramic powder and water are shown in the entry gallery with the exterior facade showing as a block of clay and the interior spaces showing the final work.
